**Responsibilities:**

- Analyze data from different types of sources, cooperate with backend developers and suggest ways for embedding data, considering specifications of different sources, how data is created and collected from sources.
- Continuously do A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize accuracy and safety
- Work with backend engineers to integrate prompts into our codebase and optimize for latency and token usage.
- Evaluate different foundational models to determine the best fit for specific features based on cost, speed, and capability.
- Maintain a library of prompt versions and document best practices for the wider engineering team.

**Requirements:**

- Exceptional command of the English language, with a deep understanding of syntax, semantics, tone, and how subtle word choices can meaningfully influence an LLM’s output.
- Ability to approach prompt engineering as a scientific discipline, making decisions based on data, experimentation, and measurable outcomes rather than intuition alone.
