**Position:**

**Carrier Sales Representative**
– Responsible for managing carrier relationships to ensure efficient, cost-effective transportation of goods. This role combines sales, negotiation, and logistics expertise to secure capacity and support overall operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Carrier Procurement & Negotiation:**
Onboard carriers, negotiate contracts and rates, and maintain competitive pricing.
- **Load Management:**
Match loads to carrier capacity, optimize routes, and coordinate with internal teams.
- **Carrier Relationship Management:**
Build strong partnerships, address concerns, and evaluate performance.
- **Market Analysis:**
Monitor trends, provide insights, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- **Compliance & Risk Management:**
Ensure regulatory compliance, verify credentials, and mitigate operational risks.
- **Technology Use:**
Utilize TMS and analytics tools to improve carrier selection and load matching.

**Qualifications:**

- 1–4 years in carrier sales, logistics, or transportation management.
- Proven negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with TMS and load boards.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Working Conditions:**

- Office-based with occasional travel.
- Availability for urgent or time-sensitive situations as needed.

**Compensation:**

- Competitive salary plus commission-based incentives.
