**Role Description**
As a Hotel Finance Specialist, you will be the operational engine behind our hotel finance service line. You will work directly with hotel finance teams and general managers, handling daily revenue audits, monthly closings, and management reporting — all aligned with USALI standards.
This is not a traditional accounting role. You will be working inside hotel finance systems (Opera PMS, Materials Control, POS), translating operational data into actionable financial insight.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform daily Income Audit, reviewing Trial Balance, Manager's Daily, and Daily Revenue Reports from Opera PMS
- Reconcile Opera PMS with POS systems (Micros/Simphony), fiscal cash registers, and accounting records
- Manage Posting Master (PM) accounts, City Ledger, and AR aging follow-up
- Prepare USALI-compliant monthly departmental P&L reports (Rooms, F&B, Spa, Other Operated)
- Support F&B cost control through Materials Control: stock valuation, recipe cost analysis, variance reporting
- Calculate and monitor hospitality KPIs: ADR, RevPAR, GOPPAR, Occupancy, Flow-Through
- Assist with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and management reporting packages
- Coordinate with client-side finance managers and general managers
- Identify revenue leakage and process improvement opportunities
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Opera PMS (V5 or Cloud) — required
- Working knowledge of Materials Control or similar F&B inventory systems
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (IFRS basis preferred)
- Advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Fluent in Macedonian and English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client deliverables
**Preferred Qualifications (Strong Plus)**
- Direct hotel finance experience (Income Audit, Night Audit, F&B Cost Controller, Hotel Accountant)
- Familiarity with USALI reporting standards (any edition)
- Knowledge of POS systems (Micros, Simphony, or similar)
- Turkish language proficiency
- Experience working with 4-5★ hotels or hospitality groups
- CHAE certification or relevant professional qualifications
