Data Engineer

We are looking for a 
**Data Engineer**
 with min 3 years of extensive experience in designing, building, and managing cloud and on-premises infrastructures, with a strong focus on Azure. If you are a professional passionate about automation, problem-solving, and infrastructure optimization, we’d love to meet you!

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, build, and implement infrastructures in private and public cloud environments, including networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and identity management.
- Implement Azure networking solutions for enterprise organizations.
- Develop hybrid environments to connect existing customer networks with Azure.
- Secure, manage, and monitor Azure environments.
- Design and deploy resilient cloud architectures on Azure.
- Migrate and modernize workloads from on-premises data centers to Azure.
- Leverage Azure platform services to create native cloud PaaS solutions.
- Build and deploy Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Utilize tools like Azure CLI, PowerShell/Azure PowerShell, and the Azure portal.
- Experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as PowerShell DSC, Chef, and Puppet.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps (VSTS) to deploy infrastructure and applications.

**Additional Skills/Experience:**

- Deep understanding of Azure technologies: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Active Directory, AD Connect, Operations Management Suite/Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Import/Export, Azure SQL Server, MySQL, Azure Automation.
- Expertise in Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Bash scripting.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of serverless deployment and maintenance, including related tools.
- ITIL discipline knowledge
- Proven ability to create high-quality process documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Strong focus on automation philosophies and best practices.
- Ability to deliver on tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-diagnosis skills.
- Effective communication with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Intermediate Italian B level (mandatory)
- Fluent English

**Additional request:**
 travelling to customer (Italy) once a month for 2-3 days is mandatory!
