**Role Description**
This full-time, on-site Economics Teacher role is based at NOVA International School Skopje’s campus in Aerodrom. The Economics Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging economics lessons aligned with the school’s IB and Common Core-aligned curriculum, fostering critical thinking, inquiry, and real-world application of economic concepts. Daily responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, differentiating instruction to support diverse learners, monitoring student progress, and providing timely feedback. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with students, families, and colleagues; contributing to curriculum development; and participating in faculty meetings, professional learning, and school events. The teacher is expected to uphold school policies, support student well-being, and actively contribute to the collaborative, international culture of the school.

**Qualifications**

- Relevant academic background in Economics, Education, or a closely related field (Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching qualification or certification, and demonstrated experience teaching Economics at secondary school level; IB and/or international school experience is an advantage.
- Strong instructional planning, classroom management, and assessment skills, with the ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs and English language proficiency levels.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to explain complex economic concepts clearly and accessibly to students.
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills for working effectively within a multicultural faculty, engaging with students, and communicating with families.
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive, and inquiry-based learning, and openness to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
- Ability to relocate to or reside in Skopje and work on-site in Aerodrom in accordance with local employment and visa regulations.
