We’re an incoming tour operator that creates award-winning, human-powered outdoor adventures and is on a mission to become the North Star of responsible tourism in Albania.
We’re looking for someone to support the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and smooth coordination with partners, suppliers, banks, and internal team. The role focuses on day-to-day finance tasks while offering room to grow into more advanced financial responsibilities over time.
An advanced candidate may take ownership of reporting, controls, and process improvements after a familiarization period, while someone with less experience should demonstrate a strong interest in developing finance and accounting skills in a dynamic environment.
The gross salary for this position ranges from **87,000 ALL to 127,000 ALL per month**. In addition, there is an annual company performance-based bonus, which is not guaranteed; however, over the past three years, it has typically ranged between **40% and 50% of the total annual salary**.
**Low:** Some experience or education in finance, accounting, administration, or a related field. We also welcome motivated newcomers without prior experience or formal education, provided they demonstrate strong numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
**Mid:** At least two years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliation, ideally in an international or service-based environment.
**High:** Proven experience managing financial processes independently, improving systems, and supporting reporting or compliance, with the ability to guide others.
## Tasks
You will spend most of your time on structured financial and administrative tasks, with regular coordination with partners, banks, and internal teams. Accuracy, consistency, and reliability are essential for this role.
**Daily finance operations**
* Review, verify, and log incoming and outgoing invoices in the system.
* Record payments accurately and perform daily checks to identify errors or discrepancies.
* Reconcile balances with suppliers, partners, and banks.
* Maintain continuous communication with partners regarding invoices and payment status.
* Follow up on outstanding payments from partners.
**Payments & cash flow**
* Process payments to suppliers.
* Handle regular payments (utilities such as UKT, OSHE, fuel, and employee salaries).
* Monitor cash movements and flag inconsistencies or delays.
**Reporting & compliance**
* Prepare and process financial data for declarations.
* Support self-care and e-filing processes.
* Identify financial issues or risks and report them clearly to management.
**Systems & coordination**
* Use financial software and internal systems to ensure accurate data entry.
* Integrate and adapt to new tools and systems as processes evolve.
* Coordinate with sales, operations, and management to ensure financial alignment.
