First Aid Assistant

**First Aid Assistant**
(Nurse) who will report to the 
**First Aid Team Leader**
 of the company.

**Position Purpose**

The
**First Aid Assistant**
is responsible for providing direct first aid and medical support in the airport.

This role ensures timely and safe response to medical incidents involving passengers, staff, or visitors in compliance with TIA health, safety, and emergency procedures.

The position also supports the Company Doctor in occupational health monitoring, including verification of employee medical sick leaves through home visits and assisting in the maintenance of staff medical records.

**Key Responsibilities**

**First Aid and Emergency Medical Response​**

• Provide first aid assistance to passengers, visitors, and employees in all airport areas.

• Assist in monitoring patient condition until the handover to the state medical service

• Maintain and prepare first aid kits, oxygen units, and emergency medical equipment.

• Support emergency medical response operations during incidents such as aircraft emergencies, fires ,or mass casualty events.

• Document all first aid interventions accurately in the daily medical report and prepare reports as requested.

• Ensure compliance with TIA Safety and Security regulations while operating in airside or restricted areas.

**Occupational Health and Sick Leave Verification​**

• Conduct home visits for verification of employees’ medical sick leave, in accordance with company policy and national health guidelines.

• Report findings from visits and prepare short written summaries for the Company Doctor.

• Provide assistance during periodic medical checks and workplace health campaigns.

• Support the Company Doctor in maintaining and updating staff medical files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

**Administrative and Support Tasks​**

• Maintain logs and reports related to first aid interventions and occupational health activities.

• Monitor stock levels of medical supplies and request replenishment when necessary.

• Assist in the organization of First Aid training sessions, drills, and awareness events.

• Ensure the cleanliness, readiness, and safety of the First Aid Unit.
