About the Role

We're rebuilding the Norstat Panel experience for millions of panelists across Europe, with ambitions to grow significantly further.

Our approach is app-first, with native mobile apps serving as the primary panelist experience. However, not everything belongs in the app. The panelist web portal supports sign-up flows, account recovery, partner journeys, and additional experiences where web is the better fit. The internal interfaces used by our Panel and Quality teams are equally important.

We're hiring a Front-end Engineer who sits at the intersection of front-end and full-stack development. Someone comfortable working with APIs, services, and data flows, while also having the eye and craftsmanship to deliver polished, accessible web experiences.

You'll work closely with the Mobile Engineer and the wider engineering team to ensure the web and mobile experiences feel coherent and connected.

We work in an AI-assisted development environment using tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and AI design tooling alongside Figma. Quality, architecture, and production readiness remain human decisions. Your role is to transform AI-generated designs and code into robust, maintainable, production-ready experiences.

The Role

You will:

- Lead development of the panelist-facing web portal and internal interfaces
- Decide what belongs on the web versus in the mobile app together with the Mobile Engineer
- Integrate with Panel APIs, authentication systems, and reward services
- Contribute to backend integrations where appropriate
- Turn Figma designs and AI-generated mockups into polished interfaces
- Shape front-end architecture, component patterns, and engineering standards
- Help establish best practices for front-end engineering on the Panel team

You'll have real ownership while collaborating closely with the full-stack team, Mobile Engineer, Quality team, and product stakeholders.

What You'll Work On

- The panelist web portal and internal team interfaces
- Web flows such as sign-up, account recovery, partner journeys, and longer-form interactions
- Integration with Panel APIs, authentication, and reward systems
- Translating Figma frameworks and AI-assisted designs into polished UI
- Performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability
- Iterating based on how real panelists and internal users interact with the platform

What We're Looking For

Years on a CV matter less to us than depth and engineering judgment. You likely:

- Have meaningful experience shipping production web applications used by real users
- Are comfortable across the stack but lean toward front-end engineering
- Can work with backend services and APIs when needed
- Have strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript
- Are confident with at least one modern front-end framework
- Understand the deployment and release lifecycle for web applications
- Have a strong eye for UX, accessibility, and responsive design
- Can take Figma files or AI-generated mockups and ship them effectively
- Have taken products or major features from idea to production
- Can make sound technical decisions and explain trade-offs clearly
- Enjoy ownership and working in a collaborative environment
- Are comfortable working in English within a distributed international team

Nice to Have

- Experience collaborating with mobile teams on shared products
- Experience maintaining or building a component library or design system
- Familiarity with Figma-based workflows
- Comfort using AI design tools such as v0, Galileo, or similar
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
- Background in panels, market research, loyalty, or other high-engagement consumer products
