Role overview

We are seeking
for a detail‑oriented Web Developer to join our team in Tirana. This is a full‑time, on‑site role where you’ll work closely with a Technical Director and collaborate with designers and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and accessible web experiences.

We are intentionally tool‑agnostic and value strong fundamentals, sound judgment, and real impact over familiarity with any single framework. Our web work is primarily built with Gatsby, and successful candidates will be comfortable working within—and improving—that ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring

✅ Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive web experiences using Gatsby and modern front-end practices
- Implement features and fixes with attention to quality, performance, and long-term maintainability
- Apply accessibility best practices and contribute to inclusive experiences aligned with WCAG guidelines
- Implement and maintain analytics tagging via Google Tag Manager (GTM), ensuring events and data layers are accurate and testable
- Follow established development standards (version control, code review, documentation, testing practices)
- Communicate status clearly and raise risks early when timeline, scope, or quality may be impacted
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly (e.g., Cursor or similar) to improve productivity while maintaining code quality

Required experience and skills

- 2+ years of experience developing websites and/or web applications
- Proficiency with modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility considerations and practical debugging techniques
- Working knowledge of accessibility fundamentals and WCAG-aligned implementation practices
- Familiarity with version control best practices (e.g., Git workflows)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with everyday coding tasks (debugging, small refactors, working with existing codebases, writing clear and readable code)

✨ Nice‑to‑Have Skills

- Experience consuming or integrating with REST APIs
- Prior experience implementing analytics tags/events (GTM, GA4, data layer patterns)
- CMS exposure
- Familiarity with CI pipelines or build/deploy processes
