**Frontend Tech Lead**

Fully Remote from Europe or Asia

**Daytime Schedule**

We are looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Frontend Tech Lead to drive the technical vision and architectural evolution of our frontend systems during a significant period of growth. The Frontend Tech Lead will ensure our applications are scalable, resilient, and built to elite engineering standards while actively growing and mentoring the engineers behind them.

This is an ideal role for a seasoned leader who thrives in high-stakes environments and wants to take full ownership of the frontend lifecycle, from backlog to production.

**Core Responsibilities**

- Define, evolve, and own the frontend architecture by building scalable applications using
**Next.js**
and lead the development of reusable component libraries using
**Material UI and TailwindCSS**
.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and performance.
- Define testing strategies using
**Jest**
(Unit) and
**Cypress/Playwright**
(E2E) while ensuring consistency across all frontend applications.
- Take a lead role in recruiting, mentoring, and coaching frontend engineers. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to help the team scale in size and skill.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend teams
- Define frontend CI/CD workflows using GitHub
- Work with engineering teams on AWS deployment strategies
- Improve build pipelines, testing pipelines and release processes
- Own frontend systems from backlog to production, including architecture, development, testing, deployment and incident response
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring frontend services are reliable, observable and resilient
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis, implementing improvements to prevent recurrence

**Technical Profile**

- Expert-level experience with React and Next.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience building UI systems with Material UI (MUI) and TailwindCSS
- Experience designing large-scale frontend architectures
- Deep knowledge of frontend performance optimization
- Experience building design systems or component libraries
- Experience leading frontend teams or technical initiatives
- Strong mentoring and communication skills

**Preferred/Bonus Qualifications**

- Experience integrating AI-powered features is a strong plus
- Experience deploying applications to AWS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with design systems
