Full Stack Developer - Skopje

As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll bring that same energy and curiosity to the engineering craft, building high-quality digital experiences that power the work our clients see, feel, and interact with. You’ll sit at the heart of our digital ecosystem, shaping the systems, frameworks, and code that keep our ideas moving and our creativity scalable.


This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, obsesses over clean architecture, and pushes for technical excellence while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across UX, design, strategy, and production.


You’ll build tools, platforms, and features that help Iris show up in culture and stay ahead of what’s next.


How you’d spend your day


Engineering Craft



- Building and maintaining robust applications across WordPress, Laravel, and React-based front ends.
- Developing custom themes, plugins, APIs, integrations, and reusable components that keep our digital output scalable and future-proof.
- Engineering Gutenberg blocks, ACF components, and bespoke functionality tailored to client and project needs.

Collaboration & Creativity



- Partnering with UX, design, and strategy teams to bring concepts to life with performance, accessibility, and maintainability baked in from day one.
- Participating in architectural planning, code reviews, and technical scoping to help define how we build the work Iris is known for.
- Supporting fellow developers, championing best practices, and helping elevate our engineering standards across the board.

Performance, Scalability & Quality



- Delivering fast, accessible, SEO-friendly solutions that meet the highest security standards.
- Implementing APIs (REST/GraphQL) that allow our systems to move quickly and scale elegantly.
- Contributing to CI/CD workflows, testing suites, and continuous improvement initiatives to raise the bar on performance.

What we’re looking for



- 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, including custom WordPress and Laravel development.
- Solid experience with JavaScript, React, and modern front-end tooling.
- Strong database skills (MySQL/PostgreSQL), including schema design and optimisation.
- Comfort working with Git-driven workflows, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- A builder’s mindset—able to turn complex requirements into reliable, elegant systems.
- Someone calm in complexity, curious by nature, and always pushing the boundaries of what digital can do.

Nice to Have



- Experience with headless CMS, decoupled architectures, or advanced React frameworks (Next.js).
- Knowledge of Totara/Moodle or complex third-party integrations (SSO, custom APIs).
- Familiarity with component libraries, design systems, or scalable UI patterns.
