**📍 Location: Remote (Albania/Kosovo)**

**🕒 Schedule: Part-time/Full-time | Monday – Friday, 16:00-20.00/15.00-23.00**

We’re looking for an experienced Python Automation Engineer to transform fragile, UI-driven portal automations into reliable, HTTP-first systems that run consistently in the cloud. This is
**not an entry-level role**
; we need someone who can take full ownership, make independent decisions, and drive projects from start to finish.

**About the Role**

In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain Python-based automations that securely log into third-party web portals, extract data, and download files. You will focus on backend-request-based automations instead of brittle UI scraping, ensuring reliability and scalability. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, managing multiple automations and deployments with minimal guidance.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Build and maintain Python automations that authenticate into web portals and retrieve data via HTTP/XHR endpoints
- Reverse-engineer web portals using browser DevTools (Network tab, HAR files) to understand underlying requests
- Replace UI-driven automations with more reliable, maintainable, backend-request-based solutions
- Implement retries, timeouts, error handling, logging, and re-run logic to maximize reliability
- Deploy, schedule, and operate automations on cloud infrastructure (e.g., DigitalOcean), with monitoring and alerting
- Add client-specific rules and configurations without creating one-off scripts
- Debug failed runs, investigate portal changes, and restore automation stability independently
- Document automation workflows and communicate progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

**What We’re Looking For**

- Proven experience in managing complex projects, processes, or client-facing systems
- Strong independent problem-solver who can take full ownership without step-by-step guidance
- Solid Python experience for scripting and automation
- Deep understanding of HTTP concepts, including sessions, cookies, headers, and authentication flows
- Comfortable in Linux environments (cron jobs, services, log analysis, debugging)
- Experience deploying and managing scripts in cloud infrastructure
- Strong background in process optimization, cross-functional coordination, and supporting high-performing teams

**Nice to Have / Bonus Skills**

- Experience reducing bot/CAPTCHA triggers through smarter automation strategies
- Familiarity with headless browsers as a fallback (Playwright, Selenium)
- Managing multiple client automations in a shared codebase
- Monitoring, alerting, or logging setup experience
