**Job Overview:**

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
**Senior Fullstack Software Engineer**

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across the entire stack. You will spend your days building
**intuitive, responsive user interfaces**

and architecting robust backend services using
**Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS technologies**

You will have a strong emphasis on
**end-to-end application architecture**

, cloud-native solutions, and infrastructure as code (Terraform). You will be responsible for
**developing seamless digital experiences**

while ensuring the highest standards of performance, security, and quality through robust testing and CI/CD pipelines. This role requires a candidate who can bridge the gap between complex backend systems and elegant frontend execution in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Work On

- Neon Digital Signage platform (dashboards, scheduling, device control)
- Neon Music and media management systems
- POS, ordering, and third-party integrations
- Neon Studio (design and content tooling)
- Device provisioning, monitoring, and system reliability
- APIs and services powering thousands of live screens and locations

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across Neon’s platform
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Create intuitive, high-performance frontend experiences for operators and brands
- Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into production-ready solutions
- Improve performance, reliability, and security of existing systems
- Own features from technical design through deployment and iteration
- Review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to best practices
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning
- Debug and resolve complex production issues in a live, hardware-connected environment

Technical Stack (Representative, not exhaustive)

- Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern CSS frameworks
- Backend: Node.js, Python, REST & GraphQL APIs
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Integrations: POS systems, media players, device APIs
- Version Control: Git, GitHub
- Experience with real-time systems, media platforms, or hardware-integrated software is a strong plus.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience across both frontend and backend development
- Proven ability to design and ship production-grade systems
- Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, and data modeling
- Experience working on SaaS or platform-based products
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset

Nice to Have

- Experience with digital signage, media platforms, or IoT systems
- Experience supporting multi-tenant or high-availability SaaS products
- Familiarity with POS, payments, or ordering platforms
- Prior experience in startups or scaling engineering teams
