Social Media Specialist supports the execution of Roadway’s influencer, social, and marketing operations. This highly operational role manages inbound inquiries, influencer coordination, and internal handoffs to ensure accurate, timely follow-through as volume scales. Designed for a detail-oriented executor, this role thrives in fast-paced environments and provides support across multiple marketing functions.
**Responsibilities**
- Monitor and respond to inbound DMs and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Qualify and route influencer and partnership leads appropriately
- Track inquiries, offers, and outcomes; escalate high-priority items
- Draft and send influencer offers per marketing guidance
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, approvals, and promo details
- Ensure accuracy before handoff and follow up on deliverables
- Maintain accurate tracking sheets and calendars
- Organize influencer-generated content and assist with posting logistics
- Tag, archive, and monitor basic engagement
- Coordinate across Marketing, Sales, and external partners
- Support ad hoc marketing needs to keep operations running smoothly
**Requirements:**
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing coordination, ideally social media support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, reliable, and accountable working style
- Willingness to learn new skills and collaborate and support cross-functionally
- Must be flexible to work on weekends and 6 days/week during the busy period (summer)
Hours: 12:30PM-8:00AM US ET or 5:00PM-1:00AM US ET.
This role is execution-focused and operational by design. Responsibilities may evolve as the marketing organization scales, but the core expectation remains: accuracy, speed, professionalism, and follow-through.
