**About the Role**

We are looking for an
**AI Engineer**
to join our engineering and AI infrastructure team. In this role, you will
**build and maintain the critical systems and data pipelines**
that power our AI-driven products and automation platforms.

You will be responsible for
**developing scalable data pipelines**
, integrating AI into production environments, and ensuring reliable, high-performance execution of AI workloads at scale.

This is a
**hands-on engineering role**
, working closely with data scientists, cybersecurity teams, and product teams to transform AI models into
**production-ready systems**
.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and build
**end-to-end data pipelines**
for high-volume data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Ensure
**pipeline reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance**
in production environments.
- Develop and maintain
**API integrations**
between AI systems and internal/external platforms.
- Build
**connectors and middleware**
to support seamless system interoperability.
- Integrate and orchestrate
**LLM-based workflows**
using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Implement
**CI/CD pipelines**
for automated deployment, versioning, and model lifecycle management.
- Deploy and manage
**self-hosted LLMs**
using Ollama, vLLM, or Hugging Face Inference.
- Containerize applications using
**Docker**
and manage deployments with
**Kubernetes**
.
- Configure
**monitoring, logging, and alerting**
to track infrastructure health and model performance.

**Requirements**

**Must-Have**

**Education & Experience**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- **3+ years**
in backend or
**data engineering**
roles.
- **2+ years**
working with
**AI/ML systems**
.

**Technical Skills**

- Strong programming skills in
**Python**
(FastAPI, Django) and
**JavaScript**
(Node.js, Express).
- Experience building pipelines using
**Apache Airflow**
or
**Prefect**
.
- Proficiency with
**Docker**
; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Experience working with
**Google Cloud Platform**
or similar cloud environments.

**AIOps & AI Integration**

- Familiarity with
**agentic AI frameworks**
(LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Experience deploying models using
**Ollama, vLLM, and Hugging Face**
.
- Understanding of
**CI/CD pipelines**
(GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

**Data & Monitoring**

- Experience designing and consuming
**REST APIs**
and working with
**JSON**
data.
- Knowledge of database and data storage best practices.
- Ability to handle high-volume streaming data and optimize performance.
- Experience with
**monitoring tools**
(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

**Communication**

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
- Clear technical communication and documentation skills.
- English proficiency (B2+). Italian is a plus.
