Job Title: Bridge SE | Japanese IT Company in North Macedonia

Location: Ohrid, North Macedonia (On-site preferred, but remote candidates are welcome)

We are the first Japanese IT company in North Macedonia, specializing in system development and other key business areas. As our projects expand, we are looking for talented individuals to join our dynamic, international team.
Role Overview
As a Bridge SE, you will act as a key link between local teams and Japanese clients, ensuring smooth communication and project execution.
Responsibilities
🔹 Project Management & Coordination
- Estimating schedules, tracking progress, and making necessary adjustments.
- Managing tickets (progress tracking, specification translation, and version control).
- Understanding project requirements and implementing quality improvements.
- Client communication.
**🔹 Technical Responsibilities**
- Conducting vulnerability checks with Composer and npm.
- Engaging in test verification, debugging, and writing simple code (if, while, for statements, access modifiers).
- Working with DB, SQL, and API for database management and queries.
- Handling network security, load balancing, and credential management.
- Monitoring system health using Mackerel and CloudWatch.
**🔹 Team Leadership & Development**
- Training and mentoring team members.
- Building teams and fostering cultural integration.
- Evaluating performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Conducting job interviews and goal setting.
Tools We Use
AWS, Visual Studio Code, Docker, CircleCI, GitHub, Spreadsheets, Slack, Skype, and more.
Qualifications
✅ Required:
- Conversational English (TOEIC 650+ or equivalent).
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to bridge communication between overseas staff and Japanese clients.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency and deep understanding of Japanese business culture.
✅ Preferred:
- Experience in software development.
- Leadership or management experience.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
- Working Hours & Schedule:
North Macedonia & Other European countries: 07:00 - 15:30 (1-hour lunch break, 7.5 working hours).
- Japan: 10:00 - 18:30
- Days Off: Saturday & Sunday + public holidays.
- No OVERTIME work
Salary & Benefits
💰 Monthly salary: ¥180,000 - ¥350,000 (based on experience & skills).
✈ Relocation Support: Travel and visa expenses covered.

🌍 Workation & Remote Options: Temporary return-to-Japan system available.
📚 Training Provided: We offer a 3-month training period.
