- an established international technology and services company with a strong European presence, operating for several years in North Macedonia and employing over 100 professionals locally,
**we are seeking a Country Lead**
to lead and further develop its nearshore operations in North Macedonia.

**The Role**

The Country Lead will serve as the most senior local leader and overall point of accountability for the Macedonian entity. This role combines strategic leadership with operational oversight, ensuring full alignment between local execution and global objectives.

You will act as the bridge between headquarters and the local teams, translating business strategy into a clear country plan while fostering a high-performing, engaged and collaborative culture.

The successful candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of the Macedonian business landscape, leveraging their professional network and contextual insights to influence both the leadership team abroad and the strategy for North Macedonia. They will understand cultural norms, communication styles and workplace expectations, helping bridge gaps between the headquarters and this near-shore team.

With accountability for the overall site performance, leadership and operational oversight, this lead role will collaborate cross-functionally with matrix management responsibilities specifically in Technology, Change & Operations, Sales, HR, Finance and Commercial.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Oversee overall site performance, delivery standards, and operational excellence
- Hold accountability for country-level financial performance (P&L oversight)
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Technology, Operations, Sales, HR and Finance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Represent the organization locally with key stakeholders, partners and institutions
- Strengthen the employer brand and support sustainable growth of the nearshore centre

**Your Profile**

- Proven senior leadership experience in a outsourcing or delivery centre environment
- Strong background in services delivery and leading large teams (100+)
- Solid financial and commercial acumen
- Experience working in international or matrix organizations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate across cultures
- Strong understanding of the North Macedonian business environment
