**Job Description**

As a
**Finance Assistant**
, you will support day-to-day finance operations by managing customer accounts, monitoring credit and collections, assisting with ledger tasks, and supporting month-end processes-ensuring accurate financial records and smooth cash flow across international operations.

**About the Client**

With a strong focus on quality, reliability, and sustainable operations, the organization supports global customers through structured financial and operational processes-offering professionals exposure to international trade and finance workflows.

**Your Daily Tasks**

- Manage customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances
- Chase overdue payments via email and telephone in a professional manner
- Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Assist with sales ledger and purchase ledger tasks
- Monitor and manage the credit insurance process
- Support month-end finance processes as required
- Assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc administrative tasks

**The Qualifications We Seek**

- **At least 2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience**
- Basic understanding of finance or accounting (qualification or currently studying is an advantage)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- **Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office applications**
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience in a credit control role is essential
- **Experience using Xero is desirable**
