Financial Director

On behalf of a large company operating in the construction and development sector, DIMENSION HR is recruiting candidates for the position of
**Finance Director**
.

**Role Purpose and Core Responsibilities**

The Finance Director is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial and fiscal management. The role provides leadership and coordination in business planning, accounting, administrative matters, and budgeting.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Create, coordinate, and evaluate financial programs and support the company’s information systems, including budgeting, tax planning, real estate assets, and asset safeguarding.
- Develop and lead the implementation of strategic and/or operational business plans, projects, programs, and systems.
- Manage internal control processes to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee real estate assets and control project investments, ensuring that:
- Actual costs are accurately calculated per project
- Overall results and project profitability are properly monitored and reported
- Manage company and project cash flow (daily/weekly/monthly), ensuring liquidity for critical payments (suppliers, subcontractors, payroll, taxes).
- Ensure fiscal compliance (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll taxes, social insurance) and timely submission of all declarations, in cooperation with the accounting team.
- Support the development and improvement of overall business performance and profitability.
- Approve and coordinate changes and improvements to the company’s financial management systems.

**Candidate Profile Requirements**

- Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics (or equivalent).
- 5–7+ years of experience in finance/controlling.
- Strong expertise in project budgeting, cost control, work progress statements, and operational processes.
- In-depth knowledge of fiscal legislation (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll taxes, social insurance) and financial reporting practices.
- Experience with banking relationships, financing, guarantees, and treasury/liquidity management.
- Proficiency in various financial ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and risk management skills; results-driven with strong deadline orientation.
- Strong communication skills with technical managers (engineers/architects), suppliers, subcontractors, and financial institutions.
- High integrity, discretion, professional ethics, and a strong “owner mentality.”
- Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Professional certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
