Information Technology Operation Technician

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. This role involves managing hardware and software systems, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing technical support to end users.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of IT systems, while ensuring high service availability and user satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Basic administration of Active Directory (user and group management, access provisioning)

·      
Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications

·      
Perform hardware and software upgrades for company devices

·      
Ensure daily maintenance and support of PCs, thin clients, and handheld devices

·      
Install and configure printers, scanners, and office equipment

·      
Provide technical support (on-site and remote) to employees across departments

·      
Manage IT assets and maintain accurate records using asset management systems (e.g., GLPI)

·      
Configure and maintain fixed, DECT and smart phones

·      
Support network infrastructure, including cabling (UTP/STP Cat 5/6) and connectivity

·      
Coordinate with ISP providers for incidents and service requests

·   
Assist senior staff or external vendors in server room activities (rack & stack, cabling, hardware replacement)

·      
Handle and resolve Helpdesk tickets in a timely and efficient manner

·      
Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and procedures

·      
User support and basic administration of: Teams, Outlook and Exchange Online

·      
Basic endpoint security operations (AV/EDR monitoring, disk encryption support, MFA assistance)

Skills and Qualifications

·      
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

·      
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently

·      
Good communication skills with ability to support end-users in a clear and professional manner

·      
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively

·      
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

·      
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·      
Customer-oriented mindset with focus on service quality

·      
High level of integrity, reliability, and confidentiality

·      
Strong knowledge of Microsoft environment (Windows OS, Active Directory)

·      
Experience with hardware installation, drivers, and device management

·      
Knowledge of network fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, file sharing, routing basics)

·      
Familiarity with IT asset management systems (e.g., GLPI)

·      
Experience with endpoint protection and IT security fundamentals

·      
Basic knowledge of printing systems and peripherals configuration

·      
English Language – Advanced

·      
Italian Language also preferable.

·      
Familiar with AI tools.

Experience required

·      
Previous experience in a similar IT support or system administration role (1+ year)

·      
Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based environments
