**Java Developer Senior Specialist to**

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, participate in critical projects and bring impactful contributions to our business.


**What you will do :**

- You will have the opportunity to be involved in international project for project management and technical analysis activities for all the brands managed by Flutter SEA.
- You will build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java (>=17), Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
- You will design, develop, and optimize microservices, ensuring seamless integration and communication between components.
- You will deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability and efficient resource utilization.
- You will implement and utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Elasticsearch to track application performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- You will ensure that applications adhere to best practices for secure coding and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- You will stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java, microservices, Kubernetes, and related technologies to continuously improve processes and systems.

**What you'll bring:**

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 4 years of experience working with Java and Spring;
- Excellent knowledge of Java (version 17 or higher), the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA;
- Strong understanding of design patterns and their practical application, as well as basic concepts of networking;
- Experience with cloud computing and the usage of Kubernetes orchestrator clusters;
- Solid knowledge of SQL, with experience in Oracle Database preferred;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team;

**Preferably, you also have:**

- Previous experience with message broker technologies such as Apache Kafka.
- Basic knowledge of gambling market concepts and rules and/or payment gateway integrations.
- Knowledge of OCI, Azure, Splunk, Graphana, ElasticSearch and Confluence platforms ( nice to have )
- Awareness of security best practices in software development.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
