We are expanding our global team and looking for a
**Lifecycle Automation Specialist**
to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

The
**Lifecycle Automation Specialist**
is a critical technical role embedded within the Systems & Automation pillar of Revenue Operations. This individual is primarily responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated workflows and campaigns that support the
**post-sale customer lifecycle**
—focusing on
**adoption, retention, and expansion**
processes.

This role ensures that our Customer Success and Expansion teams are supported by reliable, scalable automation within
**HubSpot**
and other systems, allowing for efficient customer engagement and proactive risk mitigation, thereby maximizing Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Lifecycle Workflow Design & Execution**

- **Customer Journey Mapping:**
Design, build, and maintain complex, multi-stage automation workflows and sequences focused exclusively on the
**post-sale customer journey**
(e.g., onboarding, adoption tracking, feature utilization alerts).
- **Retention & Risk:**
Implement automation for
**churn risk detection**
(e.g., triggering alerts based on low usage, negative sentiment, or contract milestones) and automate corresponding mitigation actions for the CX team.
- **Expansion & Upsell:**
Create and maintain automated nurture campaigns designed to identify and surface
**Expansion (upsell/cross-sell)**
opportunities to the appropriate GTM team members.
- **System Integration:**
Work closely with the
**RevOps Systems Specialists**
(the systems architects) to ensure seamless data flow between HubSpot, dedicated CS platforms, and the financial/product systems necessary to power lifecycle automation.

**2. Data Rigor & Compliance**

- **Data Integrity:**
Ensure the data used for lifecycle segmentation (e.g., product usage, health score components, contract terms) is accurate and reliable within HubSpot.
- **Compliance:**
Ensure all customer communications comply with data privacy policies and company standards.

**3. Reporting & Collaboration**

- **Stakeholder Partnership:**
Act as the primary technical point of contact for the
**Manager, Customer Lifecycle Execution**
(CX Ops) and the
**Revenue Performance Partner (CX)**
, translating their process/training needs into functional automation.
- **Testing & Optimization:**
Implement rigorous A/B testing and quality assurance (QA) protocols for all deployed workflows and communications to maximize engagement and operational reliability.

**Requirements**

- **2+ years of hands-on experience**
specifically designing, building, and managing complex automation workflows within
**HubSpot Marketing/Service Hubs**
.
- Deep functional understanding of the
**Customer Success / Post-Sale lifecycle**
(onboarding, adoption, renewal/expansion).
- Proficiency with sales/automation tools; specific experience with
**HubSpot CRM, workflows, custom objects, and scoring models is required.**
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in integrating marketing automation tools with other systems (APIs, Webhooks, or tools like Zapier/Make).
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and compelling instructional or engagement copy for automated customer communication.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS or fintech is a strong plus.
