We are looking for a skilled Intermediate Linux Administrator to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our server environments. You will serve as a key technical resource, ensuring systems are optimized to support core business operations
**Core Responsibilities**
- System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix-based servers across physical and virtual environments.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor system health (CPU, memory, storage) and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Security & Compliance: Apply security hardening, manage user access, and ensure timely patching of vulnerabilities.
- Backup & Recovery: Perform regular backups and maintain disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
**Requirements**
- **Linux/Unix Expertise:**
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, including kernel tuning, filesystem
management (LVM, RAID), and advanced command-line usage.
- **Professional Experience:**
3–5 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in an enterprise environment.
- **Networking Fundamentals:**
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.
- **Scripting & Automation:**
Experience automating administrative tasks using Bash, Python, or Perl.
**Nice to Have**
- **Cloud Platforms:**
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- **Infrastructure as Code:**
Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- **Configuration Management:**
Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- **Containerization:**
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- **Certifications:**
RHCSA, RHCE, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect is considered a strong advantage.
