**Process Development Engineer (a)**
**What I do**

- Cables confectioning processes, knowledge and understanding of tinning, wire termination, compression connector, strands / wires crimping , mounting plugs and connectors, device boxes & potting,over-molding
- Launching of new products
- Development, verification and introduction of processes for manufacturing of new products
- Introduction of new product variants / functional samples, manufacturing of prototypes, validation and carrying out of analyzes
- Definition of procurement requirements for the products and the manufacturing equipment
- Build-up and commissioning of production lines & workplaces
- Programming and qualification of machines and systems
- Creation and maintenance of the technical documents and SAP data (work plans, BOM, work instructions, process parameters, etc.)
- Manage the implementation of test & quality specifications and parameters
- Selection and definition of methods for process control
- Measurement and analyzes for production efficiency
- Support for maintenance and repair work of production equipment
- Develop and implement measures to continuously increase productivity
- Technical support of production, project management and participation in cross-divisional projects
- Close cooperation with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering within Baumer Group
- Hands on approach and teamwork



**What I need for it**

- Masters or Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Experience in the area of cables manufacturing / production technology / process engineering (5 or more years experience in the area will be considered as an advantage)
- Interdisciplinary relations understanding
- Outstanding customer orientation and quality, process and cost thinking
- Tactful and with social skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English language
