Senior Financial Specialist

**We’re Hiring: Senior Finance Specialist – Tax & Accounting | Skopje**

**Grant Thornton North Macedonia is expanding! We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Finance Specialist to join our Tax & Accounting Team in Skopje.**

**What You’ll Do**

·      Manage accounting operations for assigned clients

·      Prepare and review financial statements

·      Ensure compliance with Macedonian accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements

·      Oversee GL postings, month-end and year-end closings

·      Review invoices, journals, accruals and other documentation

·      Provide tax and accounting advisory support

·      Communicate directly with clients

·      Mentor junior team members and suggest process improvements

**What You Bring**

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar

·      4+ years of experience in accounting and/or tax

·      Strong knowledge of Macedonian standards, IFRS, and local tax laws

·      Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

·      Excellent English communication skills

·      Proficiency in accounting software & Excel

·      Integrity, responsibility, and client-service orientation
