**👩 💻👨 💻About You**

We are establishing a
**Technology Excellence Hub within Nearshore**
to strengthen architectural ownership, cloud governance, and delivery standards across clusters.

We are looking for a
**Technology Practice Lead – Cloud & Architecture**
who will act as the primary Cloud & Architecture authority within Nearshore. The role will closely collaborate with Italian Technology Practice leadership while driving technical governance, architectural standards, and delivery excellence across AWS, Azure, and DevOps domains.

🔧
**Key Responsibilities**

- Lead the Nearshore Cloud & Architecture Practice (AWS-focused, multi-cloud ready)
- Act as primary technical interface toward Italian Technology Practice Leads
- Defining and governing target architectures (logical & physical)
- Oversee architectural decision logs, rules, and delivery blueprints
- Establish reusable design patterns and technology decision trees
- Govern Infrastructure-as-Code modules and CI/CD standards
- Drive architecture reviews, compliance checks, and go-live readiness gates
- Maintain and evolve the cloud skill matrix (AWS, Azure, DevOps)
- Align cloud capability with vendor transition and ownership initiatives
- Support Fixed Scope / Turnkey delivery readiness
- Coordinates technical teams during planning, preparation, and management phases of design and/or evolutionary interventions
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate technical maturity across clusters

🛠️
**Required Skills & Experience**

- 10+ years of experience in software development or distributed systems
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering or Cloud Architecture
- Strong expertise in AWS architecture (mandatory)
- Experience with Azure and multi-cloud environments
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps practices
- Experience in enterprise architecture, governance, and large-scale environments
- Ability to translate business initiatives into structured technical execution models
- Comfortable working within cross-country organizational structures
- Strong communication skills in English
