CoE Manager

**ROLE** • Lead and develop the Albania Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Tirana, managing 15–20 engineers across software and hardware development team s• Ensure the delivery of cost-effective software solutions, equipment, and devices supporting customer contracts and product roadmap s• Maintain and drive development roadmaps aligned with priorities and needs expressed by the Solutions Delivery organizatio n• Ensure full adherence to SICPA development, security, quality, and compliance standards across all activitie s• Monitor solution obsolescence, anticipate required upgrades, and actively support the evolution and sustainability of solution s• Continuously improve the performance, responsiveness, predictability, and effectiveness of development team s• Build, retain, and develop a highly skilled, motivated, and knowledgeable workforce, fostering technical excellence and accountabilit y• Establish and manage a network of local partners and suppliers to increase capacity or access specific skills when require d• Provide clear visibility on development activities and performance, including capacity, delivery, quality, and cost KPI s• Maintain strong alignment and tight collaboration with other SICPA CoEs worldwide, ensuring consistency and reus e• Control and manage outsourcing and subcontracting budgets to absorb demand peak **s PROFI** LE • Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experie nce• 10+ years of experience managing software and/or hardware development or engineering te ams• Proven experience leading teams in an international, matrix organizat ion• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align diverse stakehold ers• High sense of accountability, ownership, and commitment to delivery and people developm ent• Strong organizational and management skills, including planning, prioritization, and performance follow up• Solid test driven development mindset and focus on quality by des ign• Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, applied pragmatically in mixed SW/HW environme nts• Fluent in English (spoken and writt **en) JOIN** US! • Our success comes from our highly skilled and talented empl oyees• Respectful entrepreneurship and a long-term vision are key for su ccess• Our people contribute to a more secure world• Diversity at all levels of an organization is a str ength We offer an exciting and challenging role, with great potential for personal development within a unique organization in a fascinating industry.
