This combination of trusted brands and full-service support offers team members exposure to advanced technologies and professional growth in a specialized sector. **Role Description** The Field Service Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in Skopje, with on-site work at customer locations and some tasks that can be performed from workshop. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing commissioning, maintenance, and repair of road construction machinery and equipment from FIMACO’s portfolio. The role involves conducting inspections and diagnostics, identifying technical issues, and implementing effective service solutions to ensure equipment reliability and safety. The technician will manage service documentation, prepare reports, and coordinate with the service team and customers to schedule visits, order parts, and follow up on service activities. The position also includes providing basic operational training to machine operators, supporting warranty and post-warranty service processes, and adhering to all safety, quality, and manufacturer guidelines. **Qualifications** - Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience working on heavy machinery or industrial equipment. - Ability to perform diagnostics using computer-based tools and interpret technical documentation and service manuals. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when identifying faults and implementing repairs. - Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and manufacturers, both on-site and remotely. - Good organizational skills to manage service schedules, documentation, and parts orders. - Relevant technical education (vocational training, diploma, or degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics field) is highly beneficial. - Prior experience in field service, construction equipment, or related industry is an advantage. - Willingness to travel within the region, work in outdoor and construction site environments, and comply with safety regulations. - Basic computer literacy for reporting, email communication, and use of diagnostic software. - Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in Skopje and the surrounding area.
