**Role Description**
The Financial & Operational Risk role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tirana. The role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial and operational risks across the bank’s activities, including lending, treasury, and transaction operations. Daily tasks include performing risk analyses, preparing risk reports, supporting the development and implementation of risk policies and controls, and monitoring key risk indicators. The position collaborates with finance, operations, compliance, and internal audit teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, contributes to risk-related projects, and helps train colleagues on risk awareness and best practices.
**Qualifications**
- Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, with the ability to understand banking products and risk implications.
- Proficient Analytical Skills and experience in Financial Reporting for monitoring and evaluating risk exposures.
- Effective Communication skills for presenting findings, preparing clear documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in risk management, banking, or financial services, preferably in financial or operational risk functions.
- Knowledge of relevant banking regulations, risk frameworks, and internal control principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field; .
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work systematically under deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other analytical tools; familiarity with risk management systems is a plus.
