The company offers exposure to complex, real-world challenges and innovative solutions for professionals seeking growth in the consulting and data domains. **Role Description** The Junior Data Engineer will work on-site in the EMEA region in a part-time capacity, supporting the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure that power GMA Consulting’s analytics and reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, contributing to data warehouse development, and helping to model and organize data for efficient access and analysis. The role will involve collaborating with senior data engineers, analysts, and consulting teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and security. The Junior Data Engineer will also help document data workflows, monitor system performance, and support troubleshooting of data-related issues. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess foundational skills in Data Engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines. - Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to structure and store data for scalable reporting and analysis. - Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from multiple sources. - Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics to interpret data outputs and support business insights. - Basic knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language used for data work (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala). - Understanding of relational databases and familiarity with cloud or on-premise data platforms. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn from more experienced team members. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. - Ability to work on-site in Tirana, Albania and collaborate effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
