**Role Description**
The Loan Officer role at MiA Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in Tirana. The Loan Officer will identify prospective clients, explain loan products, and guide applicants through the loan origination process, including collecting documentation and completing applications. This role involves assessing creditworthiness, performing preliminary underwriting, and recommending appropriate loan terms in line with company policies. The Loan Officer will maintain ongoing client relationships, respond to inquiries, provide customer service throughout the loan lifecycle, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. The position also includes monitoring loan performance, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with colleagues to improve lending processes and client experience.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in Loan Officer roles, with a strong understanding of loan origination procedures and lending practices.
- Knowledge of finance principles and basic underwriting concepts, including risk assessment and credit evaluation.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with standard office and financial software.
- Ability to work on-site in Tirana, manage multiple cases, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Relevant education in finance, economics, business, or a related field; prior experience in microfinance or banking is an advantage.
- Ethical approach to lending, commitment to regulatory compliance, and willingness to participate in ongoing training.
