The institution values integrity, professionalism, and long-term relationships with both clients and team members. **Role Description** The Loan Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirana, responsible for managing the full credit cycle for individual and microbusiness clients. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential clients, conducting initial meetings, collecting and verifying documentation, and performing credit analyses in line with internal policies. The role involves preparing loan proposals, presenting cases for approval, and ensuring accurate contract preparation and loan disbursement. The Loan Officer monitors repayment performance, follows up on overdue accounts, and maintains detailed records in the internal systems. This position also requires ongoing communication with clients, collaboration with colleagues, and adherence to regulatory and institutional standards. **Qualifications** - Experience in credit analysis, loan processing, or microfinance, preferably in a financial institution. - Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial information and client documentation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and explain financial products clearly. - Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously. - Proficiency in basic office software and data entry; familiarity with financial or loan management systems is an advantage. - Knowledge of local financial regulations and microcredit practices is beneficial. - Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field preferred. - Ability to work on-site in Tirana, maintain professionalism, and uphold ethical and non-discriminatory practices with all clients.
