At least 5 years of experience in test automation. Proven hands-on experience building an automation framework from scratch, implementing it in a real-world project, and maintaining it over time. 2. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming, promises, async/await, modules, classes, error handling, data structures, debugging, clean code principles, and common design patterns. 3. Extensive hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Mocha, and the Page Object Model. Ability to design reusable components, fixtures, test data solutions, custom commands, API clients, reporting mechanisms, and approaches for stabilizing flaky tests. 4. Experience automating UI and REST API testing and integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Docker. Understanding of parallel execution, test environment management, secrets management, quality gates, reporting, and test result analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze the current state of test automation and propose the target architecture. - Build or significantly improve the UI and API automation framework. - Automate critical user flows, 21 CFR Part 11 scenarios, and the core regression scope. - Establish coding standards, folder structure, naming conventions, and code review practices. - Ensure reliable management of test data, environments, authentication, and reusable components. - Integrate automated tests into Bitbucket Pipelines or another CI/CD solution. - Configure Allure reporting, test result storage, and convenient failure analysis. - Reduce test flakiness and ensure the speed, stability, and maintainability of the automated test suite. - Perform and support API, contract, database, event-driven, and basic performance testing. Nice to Have: - Experience working in healthcare, fintech, GxP, or other regulated environments. - Understanding of traceability, audit evidence, and validated computerized system requirements.
