Senior Game Artist

At Snowball, we're looking for an experienced **Senior Unity Developer** to play a key role in improving and evolving our mobile game. Our live product has a solid foundation, but we're looking for someone who can help raise its technical and gameplay quality to meet modern player expectations. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the product, influence technical direction, and help shape how we build games as a small, experienced team. What You'll Do - Design, develop, and maintain gameplay systems using Unity and C#. - Optimize performance, memory usage, and rendering for iOS and Android devices. - Profile, debug, and resolve complex technical challenges. - Collaborate closely with game design, art, and product teams to deliver polished features. - Drive technical decisions and contribute to the architecture of our game. - Implement gameplay mechanics, UI systems, animations, and development tools. - Integrate third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, and live operations features. - Review code, mentor other developers, and promote engineering best practices. - Stay up to date with Unity advancements and mobile technologies, bringing new ideas and improvements to the team. What You'll Bring - 5+ years of professional Unity (C#) development experience. - 3+ years of experience developing and shipping commercial mobile games. - Deep understanding of Unity's rendering, physics, animation, UI, asset management, and scripting systems. - Strong knowledge of C# best practices, software architecture, and game development design patterns. - Expertise in profiling and optimizing Unity projects for mobile performance. - Experience working with Git or other version control systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment. - A passion for building polished, high-quality mobile games. Nice to Have - Experience with live-service mobile games. - Experience integrating analytics, monetization, and advertising SDKs.
