**AI Engineer (Internship)**
**Experience Level:**
Internship (Bachelor’s/Master’s students or recent graduates)


We are looking for an
**AI Engineer Intern**
who is passionate about turning state‑of‑the‑art AI into real business value. Our ideal candidate is a hands-on Python developer with a solid grasp of machine learning fundamentals and a strong curiosity for
**Generative AI**
and
**LLMs**
. You’ll be the bridge between data, models, and products—helping us build prototypes and scalable solutions that are reliable, safe, and delightful to use.





The Role


Your primary mission is to
**build, evaluate, and iterate**
on AI/ML solutions—from data preparation to model experimentation and lightweight deployment. You’ll work within a collaborative team where scientific rigor, clean code, and user-centric thinking are the gold standards.




Requirements


**Python & ML Foundations (Must‑Have):**
You write clean Python; you’re comfortable with
**NumPy/pandas**
, basic
**ML with scikit‑learn**
, and understand the essentials of
**statistics**
,
**evaluation metrics**
, and
**data preprocessing**
. You use
**Git**
, and you document your work clearly.


**GenAI & Product Mindset (Highly Valued):**
Hands-on curiosity with
**LLMs**
(prompting, RAG),
**vector databases**
(FAISS/Pinecone), and frameworks like
**LangChain/LlamaIndex**
. Familiarity with
**Azure OpenAI / OpenAI API**
and building simple
**APIs**
(FastAPI/Flask). A keen eye for usability, safety, and responsible AI practices.


**Languages**

- **English (Native/Fluent):**
Essential for daily collaboration and documentation.
- **German:**
A strong plus!
- **Italian:**
