Data Engineer

**Role Description**

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer based in Greater London, allowing a combination of office and remote work. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines as part of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. This role will include building scalable data models, optimizing data storage solutions, and supporting the development of data warehouses. Additionally, the Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights through data analytics and reporting.

**Qualifications**

- Experience in Data Engineering, including creating and managing robust and scalable data pipelines
- Knowledge in Data Modeling and designing efficient data structures
- Proficiency with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Experience with Data Warehousing systems and managing large-scale data repositories
- Familiarity with Data Analytics tools to derive actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience in the insurance industry or insurtech services is a plus
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala is beneficial
