Coniq powers well over £1 billion of sales annually for its clients, with more than 20 million consumers shopping at 1,800 brands in 24 countries worldwide, and has offices in Europe, the US and the Middle East.

We are looking for an experienced Finance and HR Assistant with strong communication skills to support our team on a 3-month contract.

This is a hybrid role based in Skopje, with 2 days per week in the office.

The role involves Finance and HR Administration. Below is a selection of the tasks involved with each area.

**Responsibilities:**

**Finance**

- Managing employees expenses and preparing monthly analysis of each employees spend
- Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment runs
- Accounts receivable support
- Maintaining finance records and documentation
- Bookkeeping and bank reconciliation for 4 entities (2 medium and 2 small)
- Preparing monthly intercompany invoices in line with budget
- Preparing VAT returns for 3 entities
- Preparing payroll input data and liaising with payroll provider for 1 entity
- Completing statistical surveys for 1 entity
- Ad-hoc finance assignments

**HR**

- Preparing employment contracts and maintaining accurate employee records
- Supporting hiring processes and onboarding of new employees
- Managing employee benefits administration (private health, health checks, etc.)
- Assisting with planning and coordination of internal office events and activities
- Acting as a point of contact for HR administrative queries
- Ad-hoc HR assignments

**Requirements**

- At least 1-2 years prior experience in finance function
- Good understanding of accounting, with the necessary skills and experience to administer all aspects of bookkeeping
- Experience with Xero software (preferable but not essential)
- Experience with HR processes
- Bi-lingual in Macedonian & English
- The ability to learn fast - naturally inquisitive
- Great communicator, with the ability to diplomatically handle complex conversations
- Efficient, effective, and proactive attitude
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads with good organisational and time management skills
- Experience in the international company would be considered as an advantage

This role is offered on a contractor basis for an initial 3-month period. Specific terms, including rate and working arrangements, will be agreed with the successful candidate based on experience and engagement type.
