Prompt Engineer

**Role Overview**

We are looking for an experienced
*Prompt Engineer*
to design, optimize, and scale prompts and workflows based on large language models (LLMs). The role involves working closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to improve AI system performance and develop innovative generative AI solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs across various use cases (chatbots, automation, analysis, content generation).
- Define best practices and guidelines for prompt engineering.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to integrate AI solutions into business workflows.
- Evaluate and improve model outputs in terms of accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
- Build evaluation pipelines and benchmarks to compare prompt and model performance.
- Experiment with advanced techniques (few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning where applicable).
- Monitor and mitigate issues such as bias, hallucinations, and model limitations.
- Document processes, experiments, and results.

**Requirements**

- Proven experience as a Prompt Engineer, AI Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of LLMs (e.g., GPT-like and open-source models).
- Hands-on experience with advanced prompt engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
- Experience working with AI APIs and integration tools (e.g., REST APIs, SDKs).
- Experience with RAG systems and vector databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation methods (LLM evals, A/B testing).
- Background in machine learning or data science.
- Experience in startups or fast-paced innovation environments.
