**Role Description**

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Durrës. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing and managing project costs and budgets to ensure financial efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), IPC-s, conducting precise cost estimates, managing cost planning and reporting processes, and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.

• Monitor project costs and track variations against budgets.

• Evaluate contractor quotations and negotiate contract terms.

• Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.

• Conduct cost control and value engineering exercises.

• Review subcontractor payments and certify invoices.

• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors throughout project lifecycle.

**Qualifications**

- Experience and expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management practices
- Knowledge of preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost planning
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools related to quantity surveying
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Working knowledge of international construction standards and regulations is an advantage
