At Rubicon, an innovative Financial Institution operating as a licensed EMI, that operates through the Pago platform, we are seeking an analytical and proactive
**Risk Management Specialist**
to strengthen our risk governance framework. This role is essential for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to support the safe and sustainable growth of our financial operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Risk Assessment & Monitoring**

- Identify, assess, and monitor risks across all operational and strategic areas of the business.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and update the company’s risk register.
- Analyze emerging risks and propose mitigation strategies.

**Risk Framework Development**

- Develop and enhance risk management policies, methodologies, and procedures.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial, operational, technological, and compliance risks.
- Ensure risk controls are effectively embedded within business processes.

**Collaboration & Reporting**

- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to promote a risk-aware culture.
- Support internal and external audits related to risk management.
- Stay current with developments in risk management practices and regulatory expectations.

**Qualifications and skills**

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management within a financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and working with auditors is a plus.
