Senior Frontend Developer (React / Next.js)

**The Job**

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to own and deliver user-facing features across a modern React/Next.js ecosystem. You’ll design and build high-performance interfaces, influence architectural decisions, and ensure the frontend codebase is robust, scalable, and maintainable. This is a hands-on role with real impact—your work shapes the UI experience for thousands of users.

My client is an international iGaming start-up scaling a new engineering team in Skopje in addition to already established operations in Malta. With strong backing, global teams, and a modern product roadmap, they’re investing in high-quality engineering and long-term architectural improvements. The Skopje hub is growing fast, providing real ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence a large-scale platform.

**About You**

You’re a frontend expert with deep knowledge of React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. You care about performance, accessibility, and great product design. You enjoy collaborating with designers and backend teams and want to contribute to a clean, well-structured frontend architecture. You’re also someone who likes mentoring others and raising the bar for frontend engineering.

**You bring:**

- 5+ years of frontend development experience
- Strong proficiency with React & Next.js
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
- Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil)
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Vitest, Jest, RTL, Cypress)

**Nice to have:**
design systems, REST integrations, cloud deployment exposure (TeamCity/Octopus Deploy), or frontend security knowledge.
