Senior Legal Consultant

**Description & Requirements**
**Who we are looking for**

- Law degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in legal consultancy, corporate law, or a related field, typically required to be 2-5 years.
- Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for contracts and agreements.
- Strategic thinking and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and software.
- Understanding of document management systems.
- Capable of working in a dynamic environment with proactive approaches to new challenges.
- Knowledge of the specific industry regulations relevant to the organization’s sector.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks, governance standards, and industry norms.

**Your future role**

- Supports and updates as required corporate governance matters and legal structure of Deloitte in Albania entities.
- Monitors compliance with new legislation and its implementation within Deloitte in Albania entities.
- Reviews and assists with drafting and implementing local policies and other internal corporate documentation in compliance with local regulatory framework in force and global/regional policies.
- Advice on the interpretation and information on the legislation in force upon the request from any professional working for Deloitte in Albania.
- Updates all Service line contract templates and local policies in accordance with Deloitte Global and regional requirements and new legislation.
- Provides legal and business risk advice to all service lines of Deloitte in Albania regarding contractual terms, client relations, compliance matters and other requests.
- Reviews and/or revises contracts, such as engagement agreements, subcontract agreements, confidentiality agreements, NDAs, Interfirm Agreements, third party access letters, client policies and other related agreements/documents.
- Negotiates contract terms with clients, subcontractors, vendors, non-client third parties and others.
- Prepares required documents/letters/applications to regulators and official authorities.
- Helps with regional projects and reports regionally as required.
- Co-operates with external legal advisors as well as the regional internal legal team.
- Represents Deloitte in Albania for the litigation cases in collaboration with Deloitte Legal.
- Trains local staff (AML/ Data Security/ Audit law etc)
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
