Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) at BairesDev
We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who has gone past deploying applications on Kubernetes and worked on the platform itself — cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, and the infrastructure layer that everything else runs on. You write Go, you understand how Kubernetes components interact under the hood, and you’re comfortable working at the intersection of networking and container orchestration. You’ll be contributing to a Kubernetes-native platform that enterprise organizations depend on to run their most critical data workloads.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain Go-based platform components for Kubernetes cluster lifecycle and infrastructure management.
- Work on CNI networking integrations and storage layer components within Kubernetes environments.
- Implement and maintain containerized platform services with deep Docker and runtime knowledge.
- Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and operational tooling for Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Work with engineering teams to deliver platform capabilities that meet enterprise deployment requirements.
- Contribute to code reviews and platform engineering best practices.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles.
- 4+ years of experience with Go as a primary language in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- Production-level Kubernetes experience focused on cluster management, not just workload deployment.
- Solid understanding of containerization with Docker.
- Good grasp of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, CNI, and load balancing.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
