**Role Overview**

As a
**Senior Python Engineer**
at Cardo AI, you’ll play a key role in shaping our technology platform. Your expertise in Python will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-performance systems, driving innovations that impact the way banks and investors interact with the private credit market. You will be part of a dynamic team, working collaboratively to deliver solutions that scale, perform, and push the envelope on what’s possible in the fintech space.

This role is an exciting opportunity for engineers who are passionate about writing clean, efficient code and solving challenging problems in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry.

**Your Mission Will Be To:**

- **Design and develop robust, scalable Python systems**
that power our core financial products and services.
- **Collaborate cross-functionally**
with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define, architect, and deliver new features and functionality.
- **Ensure the highest quality of code**
by following best practices, writing tests, conducting code reviews, and driving improvements in the development lifecycle.
- **Lead architectural decisions**

- **Mentor junior engineers**
, providing technical guidance and sharing best practices to help them grow professionally.
- **Tackle complex problems**
and find creative solutions to ensure the reliability and scalability of our platform as we continue to scale rapidly.

and contribute to optimizing the efficiency of our platform for both speed and cost-effectiveness.

**What We Think You'll Need To Be Successful:**

- **Proven experience in Python**
development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- **Hands-on experience with web frameworks**
such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask, and a solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
- **Strong understanding of databases**
: SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Redis), with a focus on writing performant queries and optimizing database operations.
- **Experience building scalable, performant systems**
, including working with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker).
- **Deep familiarity with testing frameworks**
and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
- **Strong problem-solving skills**
