**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Smart City Project Director based in Tirana. The Smart City Project Director will oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of smart city projects. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, designing and implementing smart city initiatives, fostering collaboration between stakeholders, and ensuring project goals align with organizational objectives. The role also entails identifying new business opportunities and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards while driving innovation and operational efficiency.

**Qualifications**

- Strong expertise in Economic Development and Business Development
- Proficiency in Project Management practices and Strategic Planning
- Experience in Budgeting and financial planning for large-scale projects
- Ability to foster collaborations among diverse stakeholders and effectively communicate visions and goals
- Proven track record in leading large projects with successful measurable outcomes in urban or smart city development
- Knowledge of international markets and regulatory frameworks is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
