Accounting Specialist

**About the Role** As Accounting Specialist, you will report to the CFO and be responsible for the company’s day-to-day accounting records across our ERP system. You will manage the full accounting posting cycle - from purchase and sales invoices to statutory filings and customs procedures - while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliable financial data. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, consistency, and strong attention to detail. Working closely with the Finance team, you will help ensure that accounting records accurately reflect the company’s operations and support informed business decisions. **Key Responsibilities** - Record purchase and sales invoices in the ERP system (Odoo), ensuring correct allocation to the chart of accounts, suppliers, customers, costs, revenues, and VAT. - Prepare and process statutory filings, including invoice fiscalization, tax declarations, and customs documentation, in coordination with the Finance team. - Perform periodic inventory reconciliations by verifying consistency between warehouse movements recorded in Odoo, physical warehouse records, and accounting balances, reporting discrepancies to the CFO. - Review monthly bank reconciliations prepared by Finance Operations, performing second-level controls before formal sign-off. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities through reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting documentation. - Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure complete, well-organized financial documentation in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations. - Continuously improve accounting procedures, ERP data quality, and internal financial controls. **Requirements** We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with the following qualifications: - Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within construction, manufacturing, trading, or other project-based industries. - Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus). - Familiarity with fiscalization, tax declarations, customs procedures, and statutory reporting requirements. - Good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, social contributions, and customs requirements. - Advanced Excel skills. - Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work accurately under deadlines. - Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and confidentiality. - Fluency in Albanian.
