After-Hours Operations Specialist

The After-Hours Operations Specialist manages and coordinates trucking fleet operations outside of standard business hours. This critical role serves as the primary lifeline for drivers on the road, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time freight delivery during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses sharp problem-solving skills, and can execute critical decisions independently under pressure. Core Responsibilities - Fleet Tracking & Tracing: Monitor active transit lanes via Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools to ensure high-priority customer freight meets delivery appointments. - Driver Communication: Answer inbound calls and emails from drivers, providing them with critical dispatch updates, routing, and pick-up/delivery numbers. - Emergency & Incident Response: Take accident reports immediately following an incident.
