Billing & Invoicing Specialist (Trucking Industry USA Market)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Invoicing Specialist with experience in the trucking industry to manage customer and broker invoicing. This role is responsible for accurate, timely billing, resolving discrepancies with brokers, and ensuring proper documentation to support on-time payments. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit freight invoices to brokers and customers accurately and on time • Review rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, lumper receipts, detention, and accessorial documents • Verify rates, miles, fuel surcharges, and accessorial charges against broker agreements • Upload invoices and documents to broker portals (EDI, email, or broker platforms) • Communicate with brokers regarding billing issues, short pays, and disputes • Track invoice status, rejections, and resubmissions • Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and factoring companies if applicable • Maintain organized billing records and ensure compliance with company procedures • Assist with aging reports and follow up on unpaid or delayed invoices Requirements: • Experience in trucking or transportation billing (broker-based freight preferred) • Understanding of rate confirmations, accessorial charges, and POD requirements • Familiarity with broker portals, TMS systems, and factoring processes • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Good communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with factoring companies • Knowledge of EDI invoicing • Experience billing flatbed loads • Candidates without experience are welcomed to apply as well - Please send your resume and cover letter at accounting@prestigehauling.com Burimi: https://mk.linkedin.com/jobs/view/billing-invoicing-specialist-trucking-industry-usa-market-at-prestige-hauling-4363810277
