**The opportunity**
As a Business Development Representative, you will be joining our growing commercial team and establishing a new arm of the business in the Balkans. This is a ground-floor opportunity to own a high-potential region and play a direct role in reshaping how hotels manage and optimise their distribution.
The ideal candidate is determined to drive meaningful change in the hospitality industry through innovative technology. Our goal is to radically modernise hotel distribution across the Balkans — and you will be key to making that happen on the ground.
**What you'll do**
- Identify, prospect and engage independent hotels, hotel groups and resorts.
- Run the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through to demo, negotiation and close.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline using CRM tools, reporting accurately on activity and forecast.
- Develop deep knowledge of Quendoo's distribution optimisation platform and articulate its value clearly to hotel decision-makers.
- Work closely with the onboarding and customer success teams to ensure smooth handovers and early client satisfaction.
- Represent Quendoo at regional hospitality trade events, conferences and industry networking forums.
- Feed market intelligence back to the product and marketing teams to design and shape the regional go-to-market strategy.
**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within hospitality technology (PMS, channel management, RMS, OTA connectivity or similar)
- Access to an existing network of hotels or contacts in the sector.
- Strong understanding of hotel distribution — how hotels sell rooms across OTAs, GDS, direct and wholesale channels
- Fluency in at least one regional language alongside professional English.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a remote, fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — comfortable presenting to revenue managers, GMs and ownership groups.
**Nice to have**
- Experience selling SaaS or subscription-based software products
- Familiarity with PMS, Booking Engines, Revenue Management or Channel Manager tools such as Quendoo, Clock PMS, Mews, Cloudbeds, SiteMinder etc
- Background in hospitality sales, hotel revenue management or hotel operations
