This position oversees end-to-end logistics operations, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of materials and products to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The role includes leading procurement activities, such as sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships for building materials and related services. Day-to-day responsibilities involve optimizing inventory levels, supervising warehouse operations, implementing supply chain strategies, and aligning logistics and procurement practices with project timelines and quality standards. The Chief of Logistics and Procurement collaborates closely with project managers, finance, and executive leadership to support operational efficiency, risk management, and strategic growth. **Qualifications** - Strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills, with experience overseeing end-to-end material and product flows. - Proficiency in Inventory Management and Warehouse Operations to maintain optimal stock levels and efficient storage practices. - Demonstrated expertise in Procurement, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor performance management. - Experience in the construction or building materials industry, preferably with complex or high-end projects. - Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and use ERP or logistics software to improve operational performance. - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with strong attention to detail. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage. - Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages, is beneficial.
